Bio
A native of Israel, I grew up as a classically trained violinist and later served as an army officer. I took my first yoga class in Boston in 2006 and for the first time discovered a physical activity which I actually liked. As my body grew stronger and more flexible yoga became a daily practice. The self-expression and embodiment inherent in the practice were the first things to draw me in deeper. Then came the realization that the practice went far beyond asana (physical practice). Yoga brought me balance, clarity and introspection and led me back to myself.
Previously, I suffered from stage anxiety that caused me to set aside my violin. Yoga helped me transform my old fears into opportunities for growth and courage. These days I love playing violin with my two kids and husband.
I am a 300-hr RYT and have studied with many local teachers in the Boston area such as Patricia Walden, Natasha Rizopoulos, Barbara Benagh, and Jarvis Chen.
